Liverpool midfielder Suso has been ruled out for two months as it was revealed that he was required to have a surgery for a groin injury.
The 20 year old took to social media outlet Instagram and revealed the same.

The Spanish attacker travelled to Switzerland for Wednesday’s dismal 1-0 defeat to FC Basel in the Champions League but didn’t even make the bench which raised suspicions as to his disclusion after being Liverpool’s impact player against Middlesbrough in the Capital One Cup about a week back. The 20 year old came off the bench to give the Reds a lead and then also scored both his penalties in the subsequent shoot-out.
It has now emerged that the 20-year-old been carrying an injury which will require him to go under the knife.
Liverpool have been suffering because of their injuries and have failed to win their last 3 Premier League games. The absence of Daniel Sturridge and Joe Allen is hurting them dearly and the injuries to Emre Can, Glen Johnson and Jon Flanagan is making their squad extremely thin. These injuries however, could have helped Suso make his case as the player said before the start of the season that he wanted to fight for his spot. It has come into the light now that he might be very close to an exit to AC Milan as the Italian giants look to poach the player for an almost negligible fee.
Suso’s contract expires in the summer of 2015 and the youngster has declined to accept a new one until he is given more game-time, something he hasn’t got, maybe even a little unfairly. The situation becomes interesting now as it would be seen whether Liverpool would offer a new deal, the player would accept it and whether Milan come lurking in the winter or next summer. Suso wouldn’t find a destination difficult as clubs in Spain including Sevilla, as well as Portuguese giants Porto have shown interest.
For now, Liverpool fans would hope their injury crisis gets resolved soon and the sidelined players return to action.
