Liverpool might not be able to swiftly complete Moreno signing as Sevilla demand more money. Meanwhile, youngster Suso is wanted by Portuguese biggies.
Liverpool have been reported to be completing the signing of young Spanish full back Alberto Moreno from La Liga side Sevilla for the last one week. A lot of reports claim that the Merseyside club is not far from completing their third signing for the summer. However, the fact that it has not been sealed yet has indicated signs of previous deals where the club has been reported to be completing the signature of a player but at the last minute, the deal was hijacked by another rival or was left incomplete due to some reason.
It was reported recently that the full back was on his way to the city of Liverpool with his father, to have his medical. Ex- teammate Luis Alberto recently got married in his homeland and Moreno and Alberto apparently had a conversation regarding the club where they discussed the Premier League, the club and even the Redsai??i?? dressing room.
Liverpool had initially offered A?16million plus Suso. Suso to Porto?
Portuguese newspaper O Jogo states that Porto are interested to snap up Liverpool youngster Suso. The 20 year old is a hugely talented midfielder who spent the last season on loan at Almeria. Suso was sent out to get more playing time as he is regarded as an important player for the Merseyside club in the future.
Suso is capable of playing as an attacking midfielder, deep lying playmaker as well as on the wings. The paper claims that manager Julen Lopetegui has earmarked Suso as his number one target and a move to the Portuguese club is said to have been approved by the playerai??i??s agent Dani Rodriguez.
With Liverpool playing four competitions next season and making a return to the Champions League, Brendan Rodgers should look to keep the talented youngster within his ranks. Rodgers would need a lot of depth in his squad as his side looks to make another title challenge- this time with more authority.
