Former Liverpool FC midfielder Didi Hamann feels that the Reds are better off in the long term without Luis Suarez.
Liverpool lost a very vital, albeit controversial, man this summer in the form of Suarez this summer. He was an imperative part of Liverpool’s successful season last time out and he scored 31 Premier League goals and helped the Reds finish second in the table. While most people have rued this loss, former defender and Champions League winner with the Merseyside club Didi Hamann feels that the club is better without the Uruguayan, in the long run. Suarez is currently serving a four man footballing ban for biting Italy’sAi??Giorgio Chiellini at the World Cup.
The former Germany international remains positive about Liverpoolai??i??s coming season, where they make a return to the Champions League after five years and feels that the club will not suffer much because of Suarez’s sale.
