Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla will be a subject to a bid from Atletico Madrid.
The Spanish side has made an approach for Cazorla last summer as well and are set to do it again as Diego Simeone wants quality in the middle of the part to challenge for silverware again this coming season.
The Premier League side would definitely want to keep hold of their key player. Arsenal do have numerous attacking options in the midfield in the form of Mezut Ozil, Aaron Ramsey, Alex Oxlade Chamberlain, Jack Wilshere, but it looks highly unlikely that Wenger would let Cazorla depart on the cheap. Ironically, the defender recently rejected Arsenal’s advances and made it clear that he wants to remain with the Madrid club. But Juanfran decided to stay with the Spanish club and was rewarded with a new contract.
The La Liga champions are going to be considerably diminished in the summer as a host of players are linked with a move away from the Spanish side. The midfield is also not safe as Tiago is poised to leave the team and Koke is a target for numerous clubs.

A move for Cazorla makes perfect sense and is one which would benefit all three parties. The 29 year old is a tested player whose game could perhaps become even better upon a return to his homeland. He would be joining the league champions and would be helping Simeone’s side in their effort to sustain the spectacular effort they put in this season.
