FC Barcelona Vice President Javier Faus has claimed that the club management will not hesitate to spend big this summer in order to “maintain sporting excellence.”
“We will be making some big investments in the transfer market this summer,” Faus was quoted as saying byAi??El Mundo Deportivo.
“We are ready just like we will be ready in the future. The club’s main priority will always be to maintain sporting excellence.
“Our financial situation will not be an obstacle.”
It is being reported that there will be a overhaul of the Barca squad in the summer. While keeper Victor Valdes confirmed earlier that he will be moving out of the club after this season, club legend Carles Puyol also announced his retirement last week.
