FC Barcelona defender Gerard Pique feels that his club has not shown Fabregas the respected he deserves since his arrival from Arsenal.
Fabregas has failed to cement his position into the starting line-up of extremely talented FC Barcelona squad since his arrival.
Now, the reports of Fabregas being unhappy have splurged the interest of Premier League clubs with the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City are keen for his signature.
Pique says that he wants Fabregas to stay at FC Barcelona but has also criticized the management of his own club over the current situation of his teammate.
Pique said: “I really like Cesc and I know he is going through a tough time because the club don’t appreciate him as much as they should,” the defender said at a press conference.
“He is one of those players who would be first-choice at any other club in the world, the star of the team.
“Despite that, he is finding it harder at Barca. I don’t know what he is going to do; we haven’t spoken about that.
“I hope he stays, because if you look at his stats this season, he is our highest-scoring midfielder and the one with the most assists. Of course I want him to stay with us.”
It was reported earlier this week that Manchester City have made an initial bid of 36 million pounds for the midfielder but no confirmation was made by the either of the club.
Chelsea and Manchester United are also reportedly interested in the services of Fabregas. Eden Hazard has constantly been linked with PSG this summer and if Mourinho finally decides to let him go, he will certainly make a move for the Spanish international player.
Fabregasai??i?? other suitors, Manchester United, have seen a mass exodus of players this summer and they are also in the market to sign a quality midfielder.
New boss Louis van Gaal is a big fan of the Catalan midfielder and he is ready to break the bank for the signature of FC Barcelona player.
FC Barcelona have recently appointed their ex-player Louis Enrique as new boss and he has got his own ideas of building a new Barca and reportedly, Fabregas does not fits well into his plans.
Along with the appointment of Enrique, FC Barcelona also announced the capture of youngster Rafinha Alcantara on permanent basis. The new boss sees young Rafinha as the true heir of ageing Xavi. Barca want to sign some quality players this summer and they plan to generate some funds by sell of some key players.
