Borussia Dortmund are hopeful that wanted man Marco Reus ties down a new deal with the club
Marco Reus has been one of the most talked about players in this particular summer transfer window. The German international has attracted interest from a host of clubs which include Liverpool, Arsenal, Barcelona, Manchester United and Bayern Munich.
While these rumors have been usually off mark, obviously his parent club is concerned regarding his futures, especially after it was revealed that his release clause was justAi??A?19.8m, a meager sum when considered the pedigree of the player.
Premier League sides Liverpool and Manchester United have been linked with the 25 year old for a while now and very recently Arsenal too, joined the picture and are now the leading contenders for the player’s signature, according to various media outlets. The player was linked heavily with a move to Barcelona, but with the club signing Luis Suarez and Ivan Rakitic, it is unlikely that they will make a bid for the German. Bayern Munich are the other club interested in him andAi??Bayern president Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has already increased tensions between the two rival clubs by publicly claiming that the 25-year-old’s buyout clause will drop from A?28 million (ai??i??35m) to A?20m (ai??i??25m) next summer. He has already been warned by his counterpart at Dortmund to not make such comments which would aggravate the strained ties between the two clubs.
The forward’s representative, Dirk Hebel, has reassured Dortmund fans by revealing that he has not yet received any approach from the Bavarians.

With so much speculation doing rounds regarding the player, especially after his release clause was revealed, Dortmund hope that Reus won’t change allegiances and will remain faithful to Klopp’s side.
Sporting director Michael Zorc said that the club hopes that Reus will stay with it for a long time.
