Faced with the uphill task of rebuilding an ageing squad, Manchester United have marked out David De Gea as an important member of the squad and the Spanish goalkeeper is expected to sign a contract extension which will keep him at Old Trafford till 2018.
The Spaniard has proven himself to be capable of handling the pressure at Manchester United and figures in Moyesai??i?? long-term plans at the club. According to reports, the goal-keeper will be signing a new contract which will tie him up with United till 2018 at A?90,000 a week.
Despite a shaky start to his career in England, David De Gea blossomed under Sir Alex Ferguson and continues to impress under the new manager.
