Speaking ahead of Real Madridai??i??s clash with Bayern Munich, Carlo Ancelotti believes that a final call regarding Cristiano Ronaldoai??i??s availability can only be taken on Wednesday prior to the match.
Facing their biggest threat so far this season, the German giants have proven to be Real Madridai??i??s ai???Black Beastai??i?? in the past and Carlo Ancelotti will be looking to find a way to get past the Germans in the semi-finals.
“Their philosophy and gameplan are similar toAi??Barcelona’s. We have to be compact in defense. Bayern might be Real’s black beast, but not mine because I have a good record against them! I’m not surprised about not being the underdogs because Bayern just won the Bundesliga a month ago.”
Ancelotti will be hoping for Ronaldoai??i??s presence on the pitch on Wednesday who has been suffering from an injury to his thigh for the past couple of weeks. Though he trained with the team, doubts still remain if he will be able to play against Bayern Munich on Wednesday.

Gareth Bale, who scored a brilliant goal to win the Copa del Rey final has been declared fit for the semi-finals as he was suffering from a bout of flu prior to the match. Ancelotti believes that the Welshman will only get better in the days to come and sounded positive regarding his availability in the first-leg.
“Bale is doing well and he’s really happy. A goal like the one he scored against Barcelona gave him a lot of confidence. He had a small flu problem yesterday but he’s ok now and ready to play against Barcelona. He had some troubles at the start of the season because his accuracy wasn’t that great, but his season has been great since then, and he’s only going to improve.”
Talking about Benzema, who seems to be on a good form lately, Ancelotti believes that the true strength of a striker does not only come from the number of goals he scores for the club. The Italian seemed pleased with the strikerai??i??s contributions and believes that the Frenchman will play an important role as the season draws to an end.
“I’ve never asked for goals. Benzema is doing really well this season, he’s helping the team a lot both defensively and offensively and I’m really happy with him.”
Marcelo on the other hand has been decalred unfit for the game against Bayern Munich which means that Coentrao is sure to start on the left flank. The Portuguese international has sparkled in his recent performances for Real Madrid and will be integral as he will come up against Arjen Robben on the left flank.
