After an illustrious nineteen years career with Barcelona, club legend Carles Puyol has stated that he would be leaving the club at the end of the season.
In a press conference, he made this decision public and said that he would fight till the last day of the season. ai???The reason I have called you here today is to tell you that at the end of the season I will no longer be an FC Barcelona player,ai??? he mentioned.
He cited the reason of leaving the club as his injury and mentioned that his contract with the club, which would have existed for another two years, would be rescinded. ai???The Club knows about this and we are agreed on the matter and how it should be dealt with.
