Arsenal Transfer Latest ai??i?? Wenger Denies Draxler Deal Amidst Enhanced Speculations

Arsenal FC manager Arsene Wenger has rubbished reports claiming that the London club have reached a deal with Schalke for Julian Draxler.

Manchester United have grabbed all the headlines recently with their big money signing of Juan Mata, but Arsenal look set to match them with reports suggesting the imminent arrival of Julian Draxler to the Emirates.

The 20-year-old has been linked with the Gunners since the start of this season and Arsene Wenger was interested in signing him in the summer as well, but Schalke were desperate to hold on to their prized asset for one more season. The German international has once again been linked with a move to the Emirates in January and reports suggest that Draxler is desperate to complete his move in this window as well.

Recent reports suggest that Arsenal and Schalke have agreed a fee for his transfer, and a deal is expected to be announced soon, although it is unclear whether the German club have agree to sell him in this window or at the end of this season.
