Arsenal FC midfielder Aaron Ramsey is hopeful of recovering in time for crunch Premier League clash against Manchester City on Saturday.
Arsenal fans held their collective breath as Aaron Ramsey was substituted in the 89th minute of the match against Andorra after twisting his ankle. The Welsh midfielder is still hopeful of recovering in time for the upcoming clash against Manchester City.
The 23-year-old midfielder featured in the Walesai??i?? 2-1 win over Andorra in their first match of the 2016 European Championship qualifiers. At the end of the match Aaron Ramsey had to be substituted after the Arsenal midfielder twisted his ankle. Wales manager Chris Coleman was hopeful that the injury isnai??i??t serious and Ramsey will feature for the Gunners at the weekend.

Meanwhile, Ramsey is upbeat about facing Manchester City at the Emirates on Saturday. The midfielderai??i??s absence could be a big blow for the Gunners in this game, but Ramsey is confident of recovering in time.
“I hope that’s the last time I play on a plastic pitch. The pitch was very hard, there was no give in it, and I rolled my ankle a little bit.
“I could feel it, but hopefully it will be nothing and I’ll be available for Saturday.
“Manchester City at home, those are the games you want to play in so hopefully it won’t be a problem.” ai??i?? The Arsenal midfielder said.
Ramsey was also full of praise for his new teammate Danny Welbeck, who scored two goals for England in their last game and is expected to start against Manchester City. Ramsey believes Welbeckai??i??s addition will add a different dimension to the Arsenal attack.
“He showed for England what a good player he is with those two goals.
“He’s a player who is very good technically, can get in behind teams and score goals.
“I think he will bring something different – the runs in behind, his pace.
