Arsenal FC defender Laurent Koscielny has committed his future to the club by signing a new long-term contract.
The 28-year-old arrived at the club in 2010 from French club Lorient, and after initially facing doubts about his ability to succeed in the Premier League, Koscielny has slowly but surely become one of the most consistent performer in the Arsenal side. The Frenchman has now established himself as one of the best defenders in the League and has formed a formidable partnership with German international Per Mertesacker.
Koscielny has now committed his future to the club by signing a new long-term and has become the eighth Arsenal player to do this season ai??i?? following the likes of Mertesacker,Ai??Santi Cazorla, Serge Gnabry, Aaron Ramsey, Tomas Rosicky, Wojciech Szczesny and Gedion Zelalem. The central defender has expressed his delight at having committed himself to the club and has hoped to help the team progress in the upcoming seasons.

Arsenal travel to face Norwich City in their last Premier League fixture of the season on Sunday, after which they prepare to face Hull City at Wembley. Koscielny will now hope to help the club end their long standing trophy drought with a victory in the FA Cup final.
