Arsenal FC have already made their first signing for next season, as 20-year-old Auxerre striker Yaya Sanogo has confirmed his move to the Emirates.
French U-21 international and highly rated Auxerre striker, Yaya Sanogo, is all set to become the clubai??i??s first signing of the season. Arsene Wenger confirmed few days back that Arsenal are in ai???advancedai??i?? negotiations Ai??with the French club and the player, and the now the player himself has confirmed that he has chosen the Gunners, despite interest from a lot of other clubs.
“Arsenal could be a great club for me, I scored nine goals this season with Auxerre and they think I can improve my level in England.
“I am pleased to be following in the footsteps of Abou Diaby who came through from Auxerre.

Auxerre president, Guy Cotret, has also confirmed the above news and revealed that the the Frenchman, who was born to parents of Ivorian and Malian descent, has already left the club to have his medicals at the Emirates.

Yaya Sanogo has reportedly turned down another contract from Auxerre as he was interested in moving to one of the big clubs who were interested in him. Although Arsenal are yet to officially confirm the deal, but the Gunners will be signing one the brightest young talents in France, and interestingly the London club will only have to pay a small compensation fee, which makes this a bargain deal. Yaya Sanogo has tremendous physique: he is tall, strong on the ball, has excellent pace and even has a wonderful work rate. All in all, he has the attributes to become a top striker. He is not yet ready to make any substantial impact in the Arsenal first team, but with the likes of Chamakh, Bendtner and Arshavin likely to leave the Emirates permanently this summer, he might as well get his opportunity to shine.
