Paulinho Delighted At The Prospect Of Joining Tottenham

Brazilian midfielder Paulinho has expressed his delight at the prospect of joining a club like Tottenham Hotspur in the English Premier League.

It was earlier reported that Tottenham Hotspur have agreed a A?17 million fee for Brazilian midfielder PaulinhoAi??with Corinthians. Spurs faced competition from Inter and Shakhtar Donetsk but their bid matched the release clause in his contract. The London club will pay A?15 million upfront with A?2 million as add-ons and has offered a four-year contract to the 24-year-old, who is set to make the final decision on his future after the Confederations Cup. Although none of the club has officially announced the deal, Corinthians director of football, Edu, has earlier confirmed that negotiations are underway.

Corinthians director Duilio Monteiro Alves has now revealed that the club is waiting for Paulinho to return from his international duty, as the club is bounded by the release-clause in his contract they have rely on the Brazilian to make the right decision for his future.
