Brendan Rodgers talks about Liverpoolai??i??s current run in the Premier League and tactical decisions taken this season.
Second place in the Premier League isnai??i??t something Liverpool fans are familiar with in the recent past. However, that is exactly where Brendan Rodgers finds his team six games into the Premier League season. With changes afoot at Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City, Liverpool have taken advantage of a settled start to the season and now sit two points behind league leaders Arsenal ahead of their clash against Crystal Palace. It should be an easy game for the Reds and Rodgers sounded confident ahead of the game in a press conference at Liverpoolai??i??s Melwood Training Ground.
He sounded particularly satisfied with his teamai??i??s current run of form:

Although this should be a straightforward win for Liverpool at Anfield, Rodgers knew better than to take the opposition for granted:

Rodgers also talked about the 3-5-2 system that they have been using sporadically for about a year now. He thinks this kind of formation suits their play:

On injuries, Rodgers said Glen Johnson, who has been out since sustaining a high ankle sprain in the victory over Manchester United last month should return to full training after the forthcoming international break.
