Deulofeu joined Premier League side Everton on one year loan at the start of this season. His current manager, Roberto MartAi??nez is highly impressed with the youngster and has already mentioned that he wants to keep him for next season. His playing style fits perfectly with the Liverpool based side. When asked recently about Spanish whiz-kid, Martinez said: “He has shown great things already. But for any young player, it takes time to adapt. “In the new year he will explode on the league. He has so much talent.”
Deulofeu joined the famed youth academy of Barcelona ai???La Masiaai??? in 2003 at the tender age of nine and his encouraging displays for the junior side helped him to get selected for the senior team of Blaugrana in 2011. He was not able to earn a regular starting spot in the Barcelona side though, because of abundance of talent as he made only 6 appearances in two years.
