The 2003 LG ASEAN Cup Champions, East Bengal, will get their last chance to fight back to secure a place in the next round of AFC Cup 2012 as they take on mighty Iraqi side Arbil SC in their third match ofAi??Group-B AFC Cup campaign. East Bengalai??i??s British coach Trevor James Morgan will get his full squad for the first time in AFC Cup 2012 as the Red-&-Gold brigade looks to make amends for their earlier two defeats. East Bengal are now placed at the bottom of AFC Cup Group-B with two back to back defeats against Al Orouba and Kazma SC while Arbil AC is at third place with 2 points from two matches.

East Bengal will a get a full strength squad to choose from as all of their four foreigners are fit and raring to go. Backed by some impressive domestic performances, the Red-&-Gold brigade is expected to give this match their best possible shot and come up with a victory on their home soil. Tolgay Ozbey and Edmilson Marques are likely to start upfront along with Robin Singh or Baljeet Singh Sahni. Gurpreet Singh Sandhu is likely to handle the last guarding position of East Bengalai??i??s castle helped by a four men defense led by Uga Okpara. Mehtab Hossain, the inspirational play-maker, has regained full fitness and is expected to get the nod to feature in the starting line-up.

Arbil SC have appeared two times before in AFC Cup where they reached the quarters in 2009 and semi-final in 2011. The three times Iraqi Premier League champions landed in Kolkata with a 20 member squad including four foreigners namely Ivan Bukenya (defender, Uganda), Abdelrazak Al Hussain and Nadim Sabagh (both midfielders, Syria) and Obode Efe (forward, Nigeria). Head coach Nizar Mahrous, two assistant coaches, one goalkeeper coach and media manager Waleed Tabra are also travelling with the team to India.
Arbil SC coachAi??Nizar Mahrous acknowledged the fact that they have very little idea about East Bengal, but he is confident of a victory from this clash. Extreme weather condition in Kolkata is also a cause of worry for the visiting side, reckons their coach.
ai???Our team is looking forward to getting a positive result against East Bengal in order to recover the four points that we lost in the previous two matches against Kazma and Al Orouba.
