1′- The match kicks off !!

2′- Victorino’s early run down the flank is stopped by the Sabrosa led defense.

3′- Chidi on the attack, but bought down in a dangerous place. Free kick to Salgaocar.

4′- GOALLLLL!!!! Ryuji Sueoka scores for the yellow jerseys.Ai??It was a calmly slotted spotAi??kick Ai??as D’sousa stood still. It’s SC Goa 0-1 Salgaocar inside five minutes.

9′- Salgaocar on attack, brewing up a good solid attack, but this time chidi is found offside.

11′- GOAALLLLLLL!! In form James Moga equalizes for the flaming Oranje just after 6 minutes of conceding the opener. It’s 1 – 1 now. what a start to the match.

14′- It was a beautifully excecuted free kick, as in form James Moga restores parity. Both teams going for the kill in the early first half.

16′– Corner for Salgaocar as Tomba Singh runs on teh right flank and teh ball deflects behind the goal.

22′- Victorino tries his luck by blasting a long ranger, but it goes well wide.

28′- GOALLLLL ! James Moga is on fire. he chips in a beautiful effort past hapless Karanjit to make it 2-1 in favor of SC Goa.

30′- Flaming Oranje on attack once again but a timely interception by Sueko gives the ballAi?? back to Karim Bencharifa’s side, which is trailing after taking the lead.

31′- Moga booked for simulation.

37′- Both teams attacking with their mid field moving up the field. Jovel and Victorino exchange passes to set james through but Karanjit senses the danger and collects the ball. it’s still SC Goa 2-1 Salgaocar.

41′- Oh what a chance for Victorino !! great through ball by Moga but he manages to put the ball wide.

43′- Again a very nice build up by the Oranje team and a spectacular cross by frieman is met by unchallneged Jovel in the box, but the Goan puts it wide. Glaring miss !!

44′- Chidi makes usefull run and crosses the ball for Ryuji’s header, but the Japanese goes for the spectacular and muffs the chance.

45′- GOALLLLLLLLLLLL!! It is 2 – 2 between teh goan giants as the lemon beckons in the match. It was nothing else than a howler by Keita as he scored an own goal. he rolled over the ball and the ball went in.

46′- 2 mins of added time.

46′- Salgaocar sensing another goal here as Tomba floates in a questioning ball for but Chidi fails to react and the ball goes ou for a goal kick,

47′- Chidi recieves the ball in the middle of the park and drives through the Sporting defense but fires his shot wide. Ref blows his whistle for Half time.

What a first 45 minutes we had at PJN, Margao. The derby living up to the expectations as both the teams trying to unlock the defense with virtually every move. Certainly, a very entertaining game, and we would be back as soon as the teams take the ground after the break. It’s 2-2 in Goa.

46′– Sub ( SC Goa) Prajot OUT, Joseph IN. Joseph is making a comeback into the squad after more than a year.

47′- Early attack by SC Goa. Frieman fires in another cross, but Karanjit comes ou to collect it as Moga was lurkingAi??to complete his hattrick.

51′- Corner for Salgaocar. Lamare gets his shot away, but it is wide after a goal mouth scramble.

55′- Free kick for Sporting. Fireman takes it, but it is a dissapointing one as the ball floats into the crowd.

57′- What a ball by Sueoka, which is met by Anthony. Keita makes a timely interception to give the corner away.

58′- Nothing of the corner, as the ball lands into Sabrosa’s feet, who fires a tame shot. It’s another corner for Salgaocar.

60′- Sporting under relentless Salgaocar attack here, as chidi’s thorugh ball is once again deflected for a corner.

60′- Jaspal meets the flighted ball and hits the crossbar. Salgaocar smelling blood big time.

61′- Freekick for SC Goa in a dangerous position as Samananda bought down Anthony on teh right flank.

61′- Freekick taken by Sueoka but defended well by Gerard at the back.

62′- Nice driving run by Ogba through the middle and a gloroius ball to victorino, but the young goan turns and shoots to see the ball go wide.

63′- Free kick for the Flaming Oranje.GOALLLLLLL !! Kalu scored for the home side. Frieman fired the ball back into the mix after the freekick was halted and Ogba made no mistake from inside the box.

65′- WOW ! what is happening here. another GOALLLLL !! What a counter attack by Sporting side and James Moga finishes a lightening move to claim his first hattrick of the season. It’s 4 – 2 in favor of Flaming Oranje.

72′- Chidi is bought down in the box, but no penalty for the defending champions.

3′: Baldeep tries a long ranger, well beyond the mark.

5′: Solid challenge from Anas to stop Vincent’s run.

6′: GOOOAAALLL !!! Extremely lax defending from Pune FC. An unmarked Lalkamal Bhowmik strolls to collect the clearance header and scores the opening goal.

8′: PFC is jolted by that early goal, trying to come back into the match.

11′: Tulunga’s effort is foiled by Anas.

13′: Good cross from Snehashis towards Joshimar. The Brazilian heads straight towards PFC ‘keeper.

16′: GOOOAAALLL !!! Second goal for the home team ! Joshimar receives a pass from Tulunga and dribbles past two defenders to beat Shahinlal. Prayag are firmly in driver’s seat now.

18′: Good chance for Pune FC to pull a goal back. Jeje has a clear sight of the goal with Somenath out of position but Arnab makes a crucial block.

21′: Vincent was left unmarked but Shahinlal left his goal just in time and stopped him outside the box. Yellow card for the ‘keeper, free kick to Prayag. Nothing comes out of Denson’s free-kick.

25′: Snehashis with another good cross towards Deepak. No danger to PFC goal.

28′: GOOOAAALLL !!! Arata scores a wonderful long ranger to pull back one goal for PFC. Can the comeback kings do it again ? GAME ON !!

32′: Golden chance for PFC ! Tabia had an almost open goal but he somehow missed his chance. Good corner by Venkatesh.

33′: Somenath does well on a one on one situation to clear another danger to PU goal. Pune FC has been all over Prayag defence in last 10 minutes.

36′: PFC gets a free kick from good position but Gurjinder hits it straight to Somenath.

37′: Good effort from Venkatesh. Just wide of the goal.

39′: Corner for Prayag United, easily cleared by PFC defence.

42′: Another good chance for PFC but Deepak clears the ball with a late tackle.

44′: Sub for Prayag. Tulunga replaced by Gouranga.

45′: Deepak could have further increased Prayag’s lead just before the half time whistle but his header missed the goal by a whisker.

HT: Prayag United 2-1 Pune FC :: Prayag dominated the first 25 minutes of this half but Pune FC has come back strongly. First half has been an exciting affair and second half promises to be a nail biter. Don’t go anywhere !

1′: Early chance for MFC. Kuttymani forces a save from Sangram.

4′: Couple of good chances to the home team in first few minutes, Sangram was up to the task.

8′: Free kick to Bagan on edge of the box but Jewel’s shot lacked direction.

10′: Another effort from Jewel but MFC defence clears the ball away.

11′: Kuttymani creates a good chance for Sukore but the latter is unable to take his shot.

13′: Kuttymani cuts inside the Bagan box dangerously. Kingshuk makes a last ditch challenge.

79′: Manish makes a foray into MFC defence but he is blocked on edge of the box.

81′: Lima shows neat skills to dance past a MFC defender but his final ball didn’t find a Bagan striker.

83′: Ashim’s inch perfect cross fell perfectly for Sunil but his header is wide of the mark.

85′: Good chance for Mumbai FC to pull one goal back but Yadav’s header misses the target.

87′: GOOOAAALLL !!! Sunil Chhetry scores his second goal of the match. Mohun Bagan 5-0 Mumbai FC.

Scoring 5 goals in an away match, that too without Odafa and Barreto is bound to ease up pressure on the team after their last loss.

22′: Good interchange of passes between Anthony, Clifford and Abranches but Prathamesh makes a timely clearance.

10′- Cagey start by the Meghalaya team as Chettri prevents another harmless looking attack.

11′- Great ball whipped in by Ralte for Menyongar, but the ball goes out for a goal kick

12′- First corner for Shillong as Okpara halts another menyongar effort. Nothing off it as Okpara clears. Goal kick.

15′- It’s 0-0 here at YBK, as East Bengal look the more likely team to score as Penn shoots wide geting forward from the midfield.

18′- Tolgay witha soaring run on the right flank, but well defended and ball goes out for a throw in. Free kick for East Bengal as the ball is expected to be whirled in by Robert. Wall does it’s job.

21′- What a save by Ralte to deny Tolgay as Okpara’s long ball set him fre behind teh defense. Two good chances muffed by the aussie.

22′– Corner for East Bengal. Cleared easily by Shillong defense.

25′– Drama here at YBK as Z. Ralte is sent off here by Deepak SinghAi??for bringing down Tolgey. Ralte cant believe as fire crackers go off in the stadium. Shillong Lajong down to ten men.

27′– Free kick straight into the wall . Lalramluaha is down feeling the after effects of the shot. It’s 0 – 0 here after 27 minutes.

29′- Sub ( Shillong Lajong ) Zenith OUT Passah IN.

30′- GOAAAAALLLLLLL!!!! one wont see any better goals in I-league this season. Captain Sanju Pradhan cuts the ball inside and fires a piledriver from 30 yards. It’s Kinfisher East Bengal 1 – 0 Shillong Lajong.

35′- East Bengal on the attack now as Shillong Lajong sense a long night ahead. Subhash singh wins a throw in for his side.

36′- East bengal has Gurpreet Singh Sandhu down as the big goalkeeper collided with Christopher as a through ball bought them together. Baljit Sahni is also down.

39′- Well weighted through ball by Tolgay towards Sahni but the former JCT striker was lurking in an offside position.

43′- Huge kick by Ogpara towards Baljit Sahni as Ralte comes out to give the hosts a corner. Corner well floated in by Sanju but well cleared by the shillong lajong defense.

45′- 2 mins added. Can shillong hang on?

47′- Tolgay does really well to get past the left back to fizz a ball in, the ball deflects off Passah for a corner. The corner is cleared as the Ref blows for half time. It’s 1-0 in favor of the Red-&-Gold brigade.

East Bengal enjoyed 62% of posession in the first half. Pradhyum Reddy would deploy a mentally different side in the second half as they would look to conjure some points and East Bengal would hope to kill the tie soon as 1-0 is never a safe lead. Stay wired in.

47′- Darting run by Robert and ball played into Tolgey. Aussie mis-controls the ball for a throw in.

49′- East Bnegal controlling the early posession here as Sanju’s ball in deflects out for a corner. Corner cleared away by Christopher.

51′- Unchallenged Baljit Sahni tried to find Ozbey but cleared by Passah. East Bengal are all over Shillong defense right now.

52′-Ai?? Christopher takes a free kick and is met by Lalramluaha. Good save by Gurpreet.

55′- Game has surprisingly opened up, as both the teams are dedicating more men forward and going for goals.

58′- What a shot by John Menyongar. Flew over the bar. What a cracking effort by the Liberian. Certainly not too far from leveling things up here.

60′- Tolgay misses another oppurtunity to double the lead asAi??a wonderful ball by Naoba sets him through.

61′- What a chance goes begging. Penn Orgi rounds the keeper but is not able to find his team mates as his ball is flicked away by Tolgey off the head of team mate Sahni. East Bengal not able to kill the game here, and may rue these chances.

65′- Corner for East Bengal, which thumped out by Ralte. Penn misses his volley badly.

67′- Robin fires a low left tfooter but straight into the hands of Ralte.

71′- Seventy minutes gone here at Yuba Bharati Krirangan as Shillong have done well to keep the goals down to a single effort.

73′- Brilliant cross from Robin from the left flank and it is headed away by Passah. Vashum shot is deflected away for a corner by Ralte.

74′- What a chance muffed by Robin Singh. He takes a tame right footed shot when he could have easily passed the ball to Sanju for an easy tap in.

82′- Gow misses a sitter as he is not able to tap the ball in from 10 yards. What a ball from Naoba. This has been teh story of the night for the East Bengal side.

Full Time – A splendid victory for Kingfisher East Bengal as the kolkata side move five points behind the leaders Dempo SC. Sanju Pradhan is TheHardTackle’s man of the match, as it finishes East Bengal 2 – 0 Shillong Lajong here at Salt Lake Stadium.
