Pre-Match When I-League began no one would have tipped Karim Bencharifa’s team to become the champions. But today they are on the verge of capturing Salgaocar’s second national league title. Ironically they are facing JCT, the inaugural champions, who are fighting to save relegation.

1′ : Match kicks off.

10′: Nervy start from Salgaocar. They have dominated possession but failed to create concrete chances.

13′: GOOAAALLL !!! Francis Fernandez gives Salgaocar the lead.

30′: Salgaocar 1-0 up after half an hour.

HT : JCT 0-1 Salgaocar :: Karim’s men head into the lemon break with one hand on the I-League title.

55′: Salgaocar is hanging onto its slender lead.

75′: 15 minutes separate Salgaocar from their 2nd I-League title.

76′: GOOOAAAALLL !!! Yusif Yakubu. Surely this wraps up the title.

FT : JCT 0-2 Salgaocar :: And there we have it. Karim Bencharifa has finally managed to win the I-League crown after coming close before. Salgaocar was definitely the best team in this year’s I-League and completely deserve the title. Special credit to Bencharifa to turn a modest squad in I-League champions. 35′ : Churchill has come close to scoring on few occasions but PFC defence is standing strong.

45′ : GOOOAAALLL !!! Just when it was looking like PFC will go into half time 1-0 up, Odafa Okalie pops out of nowhere to make it 1-1.

HT : Churchill Brothers 1-1 Pune FC :: An exciting second half awaits us.

60′ : Score is 1-1 at the hour mark. Pace of the match has dropped significantly.

75′ : GOOOAAALLL !!! Churchill Go 2-1 up. Do we really need to tell you who scored the goal ? Yes It’s Odafa, again.

86′ : GOOOAAALLL !!! No wonder Pune FC is called comeback kings, Kamaljeet makes it 2-2. :

90′ : Would you believe it !!! Pune FC has grabbed a goal right at the death. Surely this is the winning goal !! Keita, once again does justice to his award.
